We have two sets of friends who are each connected to a couple named Josh and Amy Bottomly, who just wrote a book that is now available through their website. We haven't read it yet, but it is supposed to be excellent. It is the story of their relationship, marriage, struggle with infertility and decision to adopt their son from Ethiopia. so where do you know bottomly's from? i don't know josh to speak of, though we know some of the same people thanks to b-way. i know his brother zak, which is my tie to the clan.
I just finished the book today and it is excellent especially if you have gone through some of the same things. Even if you havn't been through any of the same struggles, through their words you will still be able to appreciate the courage it takes for a mother to give up her child for a better life and the gift that child is to a loving family. I cried.
